Enter the Fairy Wing Contest!
Win this Fairy Sculpt from Aprylian Originals!

Contest Details:
Contest is open to those who have bought the Making Fairies.com wing booklets.
Simply create a set of wings using the
techniques you have learned from either of these booklets. Feel free to add your own ideas and
expand upon the basic ideas taught in these wing booklets. Then, simply send in photos of your wings,
following the instructions below.
You are welcome to create a fairy as well, as the best designs will be featured
on my website for all to see and admire.
But only creating the wings is required to be entered.
Contest runs for one month, and the winner will be awarded the fairy
November 25th, 2007, my daughter's birthday. I will decide just after 9 p.m Mountain time, so make sure your entry is in by then. Shipping is on me (USA only--elsewhere is extra).
I know when I was starting out, what would have helped me the most is having
a professional fairy sculpt to look at
and compare my work to. If you have previously purchased these booklets, you can certainly enter as well!
Have fun and let your creative juices flow!
Instructions for Submission:
1. Purchase the Fairy Wings Booklets through ebay.
(Or through my site Making Fairies.com here)
2. Make a set of fairy wings using the basic ideas taught in the booklets. Feel free to vary the methods however you desire.
3. Send in photos of your fairy wings (with or without a fairy as well) and a little write up explaining what you did differently, if you have varied the basic method quite a bit. Photos must be at least 500 pixels wide so I can get a good look at them. Please do not send huge, camera raw photos. Shrink them down a bit. Email me if you need help doing this.
You can send photos in an email, or as an attachment, or simply a link to where you have them posted on the web is fine as well.
Email me if you need any photo taking tips.
Send entry to: apryl (at) placeofhealing (dot) com with "Fairy Wing Contest" as the subject line.
(my email address isn't written out, so nasty spam spiders don't find it and spam me--Just stick in the normal "at" sign and dot.)
That's it. Kind of fun, huh? Since you'll be making wings anyway! =)
Any questions? Send them through my support desk here:
